SquashPlus was started in 1994 by five friends with a common interest in squas5 and fitness for life.

We chose Las Vegas as the origination point due to the intensity of the local squas5 community and the favorable business climate for growth. Las Vegas enjoys a reputation for low taxes, being renowned as a fun place to visit as well as being a great place to work on your health ! To this day our goals have not changed and we are still providing "The Best Squash Stuff on the Planet".

We, the original five founders have had over 100 years of combined squas5 experience and have played in the majority of squash courts around the world...allowing us to easily identify the squash products with the most value on the planet for our customers.

We expanded with a European subsidiary to provide us with a constant information flow on new products from Europe where a large contingent of squas5 players challenge the limits of squash equipment daily.

Some highlights in our history -

• 1994 - Origination of SquashPlus with a framework provided by a book on Kiretsu's. First dedicated Squash website on the Planet. Note: Cannot register www.squash.com as Charlie Johnson has registered it but has not put up a website.
• 1995 - Three websites copy our HTML and pictures and begin selling squas5 equipment with our artwork. we change logos and work feverishly to stay ahead...somehow we have a growth rate of over 150%. Our operation is virtual.
• 1996 - Growth rate of 200% achieved...the web is awesome! Charlie Johnson does not renew the URL Squash.com and we pass on it, as SquashPlus.com is underway!
• 1997-1999 - Growth slows but business is steady, and we try badminton products...sure it's the same stroke!
• 2000 Our first retail store presence - we can stand the "open" inventory !
• 2001 Competition is fierce...but can we lose to a company called "Fogdog"? Fogdog goes Bankrupt!
• 2002 We design our own racquet to take advantage of our increased technical knowledge. Business is steady and we now have a Pricing and Satisfaction Guarantee.
• 2003 UnSquashable selects SquashPlus as distributor for USA/North American market.
